Step 3: Find a Team/Project
Use the find-a-team-project channel on discord to post or view project ideas and form teams of 1-4 members. TEAMS OF 2+ GREATLY PREFERRED. YOU MUST DO THIS BEFORE MOVING ON TO THE NEXT STEPS! (see pic below of discord channel to use)

This form is used to create teams and only one submission per team is needed. You will need all teammate's OSU emails, ONID numbers, and team names (school-appropriate naming please).

Step 6: Download any A.I. Tools needed prior to event (REQUIRED)

Now that you're on a team, it's time to download and familiarize yourself with the tools you'll be using during this event. In addition to the A.I. tools that your team chooses (see the resources channel on Discord for ideas), ALL participants should have the following FREE A.I. tools downloaded and start using them asap.
1. ChatGPT (or similar) - there is a free version, sign up with any email (Bing search also uses A.I. tools if needed)
2. GitHub Copilot - free for students, make sure to add an extension inside your IDE and set this up ahead of time
(more info on CoPilot is found here in the resources channel:

Step 7: Plan your project scope, team roles, tech stack etc...
Now that you're all signed up and ready to compete, make sure all team members are aligned on the project scope, their individual responsibilities, and the technologies your team will be using. You may prepare any accounts, designs, tools, etc before the event, but coding cannot start until the event kicks off on May 19th at 10 AM PST! BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON DEVPOST REGARDING PROJECT SUBMISSIONS! Let's have some fun!
